Administrative and Medical Office Technology will prepare students for careers as an administrative assistant, receptionist, record keeper, transcriptionist, medical office assistant, and office manager, to name a few. This program also helps students be better prepared for college. Students who are organized and have a strong desire to help others will do well in this program that trains students in all office skills, which include filing, proofreading, record keeping, mail procedures, composing business correspondence, medical terminology, telephone etiquette, presentations, and employability. Office workers serve as the information managers of offices and are responsible for administrative and clerical activities that keep a business running efficiently.
