Job Description:

A skilled technician trained to perform inspection, diagnostic and repair work on forklifts and other material handling products as part of the Service Department team.
Works with internal company departments, fellow technicians and customers to ensure work is completed in a timely manner that reflects the standards and quality expectations of the Bohl companies.

Accurately assessing and diagnosing technical and mechanical failures in material handling equipment as well as quality completion of repairs based on diagnosis.
Proper completion and processing of service reports that specifically outline service assessment, diagnosis and completed repairs on all service jobs from start to finish.
Exemplary organizational, written and verbal communication skills a must.
Continued training.
Technicians are required to complete all training necessary as instructed by the company including, but not limited to: class room lectures, online testing, on site demonstrations and shadowing. ***Some at home online testing is required***

High School Diploma or equivalent.

2+ years experience in a mechanical environment required.

Must have good organization and planning skills, and be able to demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation of past work.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
Mechanical aptitude (working mechanical experience a plus).
Knowledge of hydraulic systems a plus.
Must provide own tools.
Basic computer skill required including: email, online manuals, web searches, etc.
Must be willing to learn and open to continued education/ training.
Must pass background check and be able to work in a drug free environment.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

25% of daily 8 hour shift required driving (to customers).
Must meet or exceed daily duties/ responsibilities/ requirements to ensure the success of the Service Department.
